Hosted by Polygon: The Evolution of PC Games

This clip has already made the rounds last week, but it’s so awesome I can’t NOT share it:

From the earliest text-based adventures to the latest modern shooters, Reverse Enginears has created a stunning musical composition featuring only sounds and music from PC games.

Hosted by Polygon, an absolutely extraordinary video manages to portray a (very US-centric) history of PC gaming, in a really stupendous way. Meticulously edited together, Reverse Enginears (you may know them from their exquisite Alice remix) have created an elaborate mashup, crafting its music entirely out of the clips of games it features.

Pretty cool, Reverse Enginears, but where is Phantasmagoria?
