The best series of all time regardless of the genre.obviously to me CBS are all complete retards for cancelling the show like they did how heartles.So much potential in Moonlight something has to happen really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please bring this show back…the network didn’t even give it a chance to grow the plot, the cast…
Such a shame; with the HUGE success of Twilight one would have throught they had the foresight to leave it on one more season…

BRING MOONLIGHT BACK!!!!!!! BRING IT BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND, you fools! It’s one of the best vampire TV series ever!!!!! And you’ll be able to cash in your bucks via advertising, sales, and wot-nots.

The supposedly professional critics whose reviews on Moonlight was completely off-line and unjustified are probably those same ones who gave Twilight (which I found so idiotic and silly, it’s unreal) the thumbs up. These critics have obviously not read any of Anne Rice’s Vampire Cronicles, probably haven’t got a clue what a huge hit it was in the 90’s, and don’t realise that Moolight has the same potential to attract a handsome fan-base as Interview With a Vampire did. What a shame…what do film critics know about film fans any how? Well…given the reviews they gave moonlight, it proves that they know nothing!

You know not very many shows pop up that are really good.
And when there is, They never renew it. Which is frustrating to me, because I don’t watch much tv. Because nothing is on tv that catches my Interest. Then i started to get into Moonlight, not knowing it debut the season before. Then I googled the show and found out that CBS didn’t renew it then I was livid! I was only a few episodes in, but after readign thatI had to buy the Complete Series on DVD. How depressing, that they can’t see a Awesome show that’s right in front of them. Just like the Dresden Files that was on the SCI FI channel. I was really involved in the show as well. And they canceled it, And they keep a boring show like Dr.Who on?????? go figure.. I WANT MOONLIGHT BACK ON!!!!!!!!!

It was a show that gave me a Friday night with my oldest daughter to share same interest and likes, it was bonding for us and it was fun to fight over who was more “inlove“with Mick St.John

I am glad you too have discovered what a wonderfully HOT and good actor Alex O’Loughlin is.I know I will always be a fan of his.
I miss Moonlight, it was one of the few shows that I watched on TV, it was upsetting when they decided to cancel it.
The whole cast was great ‚the romance ‚suspense,drama, to name few things.I am glad we got to have one season .…sure I would have liked to know what happened after the door closed on the last episode ‚however it was not meant to be .
We do not know what the future will bring ‚but as I stated before I am an Alex O’Loughlin fan for life, and will always remember MOONLIGHT.

The loss of MOONLIGHT will forever be a hole in my heart. I love the show with a passion. It was such an unbelievable heartbreak to have it canceled after being assured that a second season was all but a formality. The fandom fought as hard as we could & we still hold out a faint hope of more MOONLIGHT in one form. There is nothing out there like the magic of MickBeth.

Still as you said, Alex O’Loughlin is brutally hot. I found him in MOONLIGHT and will be a fan forever. I’m really looking forward to seeing him in Whiteout, Three Rivers and early next year, The Back-up Plan.

So glad you enjoyed MOONLIGHT. Thanks for the lovely article. It will never be forgotten.

I, like you, found moonlight after CBS cancelled the series.. I was so disappointed because I finally found a show that I loved.. nothing much on tv these days as far as I can tell..
I have become a fan of Alex O’loughlin, but moonlight for me was the entire picture and not one person. I loved where it was going.. all the quirks they brought to their characters..
I wish CBS would have given it one more season, by then the vampire craze may have brought more to the table and moonlight would have become the next twilight.. but it was not to be and for many of us out here, its so very missed.

I’m thankful that there at least was one season, because it enriched a lot of people’s lives and it’s worth watching it again and again. Also, it boosted the career of charismatic Alex O’Loughlin, who’ll continue to mesmerize audiences all over the world with his great looks and talent. He plans to play many diverse characters, so there definitely will be something for everyone. For example, in WHITEOUT (Sept. 2009), graphic novel aficionados and action/adventure movie fans alike can see him starring along Kate Beckinsale. And in Jan. 2010, he’ll be the leading man in Jennifer Lopez’ new rom-com THE BACK-UP PLAN.

Thank you for giving kudos to Moonlight. It was a quality production and did not deserve to get cancelled. True too is your appraisal of the soundtrack. The music chosen for the show was astoundingly excellent. The cancellation caused many broken hearts all around. The fact that Alex O’Loughlin is going to star in other shows does not ameliorate the effect of Moonlight’s cancellation, despite Nina Tassler’s claims.

Even coming into the Moonlight world late, glad you enjoyed it! And hopefully you’ve fallen under the spell of Alex O’Loughlin who brought Mick St John to life. As a fan of the show, I will always miss it, regret the stories we never got to see and the feelings I got watching MickBeth, as we called the romance of Mick & Beth Turner. The good news though is we discovered Alex O’Loughlin! And what a great find & wonderful pleasure that has been. His new show, Three Rivers looks great, counting the days til he’s back on our TV every week. His guest role as Vincent on Criminal Minds really made people sit-up and take note of the quality of his acting. He is much more than a pretty-face (and what a pretty face it is!) Thank you for your lovely article abouth Moonlight, because it still lives on in our hearts!

I, too, am a disappointed Moonlight fan. Loved the lore, the romance, the music and, of course, the cast. Check out Three Rivers this fall on CBS as Alex O’Loughlin is a transplant surgeon (Sunday nights on CBS 10EST/9CST). Also, see if you can catch Criminal Minds, episode 4.22, The Big Wheel, which aired in April. I guarantee that Alex will blow you away with his performance!
