The Doozers

If you ever watched Fraggle Rock as a kid, you should remember The Doozers–those cute little green guys who wear construction helmets and love to work. They sang songs about working hard, being productive, and built elaborate structures made of radish dust all over Fraggle Rock, which the Fraggles loved to eat.

Soon they’ll be getting their own show:

The Jim Henson Company are pleased to announce that production has been greenlit on a new children’s series entitled ‘The Doozers’ and is currently in negotiations with leading broadcasters around the world to license THE DOOZERS and will be presenting the series at October’s MIPJunior and MIPCOM television content market.

The DOOZERS were first introduced to television audiences through Fraggle Rock, which aired in the U.S. on HBO from 1983 to 1987 and was ranked #1 with children (ages 2-11).

What do you guys think–should Barack Obama adopt this as his official re-election song or what?
