Last year, my boyfriend (who is also serious gamer) got me about $250 worth of diamonds. When I opened them up, I acted like I loved them, even though I never wear jewelry. They were really beautiful, and it was very sweet of him. I did appreciate his commitment. :3 Anyway– later, after we had drank a little bit, I told him what I really thought and said that he had figured it out anyway, and we both laughed a lot about it, returned the diamonds, and went on a video game shopping spree at FYE. :P Best Valentine’s Day ever? Definitely. :D

I think it’s different if you’ve already dropped hints that you’ve been wanting a Wii Fit, but to get one out of the blue? I dunno. I already have one, but I think if my boyfriend gave me one for Valentine’s Day when I never asked for it I’d be suspicious. Probably just my own self-consciousness creeping in; I could stand to lose some weight myself! Wii Fits are great, I hope you get one! And good luck w/ the resulting weight loss. :)

The rest are pretty bad, but I wholeheartedly disagree about Wii Fit. I’m well aware that I need to lose weight, and I’m well aware that my boyfriend is aware that I need to lose weight (so does he). I’ve been wanting Wii Fit for a long time, and if my boyfriend were to actually get his hands on one and present it to me tomorrow, I would be thrilled.
