‘Captain Planet’ Live-Action Movie Fan Trailer

Since The League has been on a Sat­ur­day Morn­ing Car­toons sugar-high all this week, what bet­ter thing to post on a Fri­day than this fan-made trailer that imag­ines what a Cap­tain Planet and the Plan­e­teers  live-action movie would be like?

Am I the only one who thinks this actu­ally looks pretty good? Sure it’s cheesy as hell, but so was the orig­i­nal car­toon. I’d watch a whole move of this. I won’t be sur­prised if Cap­tain Planet soon joins the long list of 80s prop­er­ties that Hol­ly­wood will try to cap­i­tal­ize on next.
